Youth Happenings

The Youth Group will continue to collect cans throughout the year. Just bring your cans to the church on Sunday year round or Wednesday evenings during the school year. Please give them to one of our youth or a youth sponsor. Please do not leave them in the shed or in the church building. Thank you.

The Youth Groups will have a can and bottle collection at the Do-It-Center in Red Oak on Saturday August 21 from 10 a.m. until Noon. If you are unable to bring your cans and bottles to us at that time please contact the church office and we will make arrangements to get them. You may also drop your cans and bottles off at the Redemption Center yourself and ask them to send the money to the church youth group.

Camp Out and

Boating Trip

Chi Rho and CYF will have an overnight camp out at Lake Icaria in Corning August 6 -7. We will be tent camping so you will need to bring a sleeping bag, toiletries, swim suit for boating on Saturday and clothes for Saturday. We will return to Red Oak sometime Saturday afternoon. We will be boating on Saturday during the day. We will have a snack on Friday night and Breakfast and Lunch on Saturday.

Mission Trip

2011

Destination - Kansas City

The tentative plans for the 2011 Youth Mission Trip include returning to Kansas City. We are  looking for  mission site opportunities.  Our dates are not set at this time but we are thinking we will go the second weekend of spring break or right after school gets out for the year in late May or early June. We hope to return the the church where we worked and made friends on our trip in 2008.
