We would like to include you in our "church family" at First Christian Church! We believe that Christian life is joyful, fulfilling and meaningful. We would enjoy sharing it with you.
To all who have no church home, or are not presently active in a church, or those who have not accepted Christ as your Savior, we extend God's call to become a vital part of the community of faith here at First Christian Church. We invite you to join with us in serving God in faith, worship and Christian service and mission.
Our congregation is self-governing and owns its property. We are part of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and cooperate with our denomination fully in our Cluster, Regional, General and International ministries.
We invite you to join us for any of our services, fellowship groups, Bible studies or missional ministries.
When it becomes necessary to cancel or reschedule church activities due to weather conditions we put our cancelations on KCSI radio. We also try to have the radio announce when the office is closed due to the weather. You can also contact the church office (if you get the answering machine you know the office is closed). Always feel to call the office before coming out in the winter to be sure we are open when there is heavy snow or ice.
